Physician House Call- Dr. Byrd and his team of physicians see and get to know each patient in their place of residence. The physicians consult with a team of medical professionals who specialize in controlling pain and other symptoms of serious illness.
Nurses- Our nurses, who specialize in palliative care, deliver our services in the form of counseling, medications, home medical equipment, and education. They teach and show family members how to care for their loved one. The nurses form the backbone of our services by coordinating with the physician, home health aide, social worker and chaplain.
Home Health Aide - Our hospice-trained home health aides assist our patients with basic needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming and hygiene.
Chaplain- A chaplain is available to minister to the spiritual needs of our patients and their families.
Social Services- Our social workers help the patients and families with financial, end-of-life planning, and psychological and social matters. They connect families with appropriate and available government agencies and programs.
Pharmacy and Durable Medical Equipment (hospital bed, bedside commode, oxygen, etc.) - We provide all medications and equipment related to each patient’s hospice diagnosis.
