Grief Session Wednesday June 9

If you ask anyone what is the most difficult life trial they have faced, many will say the loss of a loved one.  It is a near universal experience, the felt loss is devastating, and support for those struggling through it is not readily available.

We at Texas Hospice are committed to improving and expanding services to our patients, and their families. Out of this commitment, we will begin having monthly grief sessions for those in our community who have lost loved ones.

Our Chaplain, Mike Shreve, will host The inaugural Texas Hospice Grief Session. We will meet Wednesday evening, June 9, from 6-8 PM, at the Culinary School of Fort Worth. That location is at 6100 Camp Bowie Blvd, Fort Worth, 76116 (just above La Madeleine).  The Culinary School will serve delicious  hors d’ouvres, and we have room for 15 people.  If you would like to attend, please RSVP by calling 817-263-8808, or by emailing at MShreve@TexasHospice.com.

Are you one of those who has recently lost a relative or a friend and are dealing with the psychological fallout?  If you are, don’t miss a chance to work through it with others who are doing the same, and under the guidance of a licensed and experienced chaplain.

We will be using a very well-done video series that targets those struggling with this issue, and, as always, our event will be Jesus-centered.  “Come to me you are are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.”
